Best night of sleep before a race ever! When Casi's alarm went off, I thought there was something wrong with her phone. As opposed to running my two marathons, when I was up every hour hoping it was time to wake up because I was sick of laying in bed.
This is the way to go for races. Last night, the hotel was a hot mess of blisters, outfit choices, and packing what to take and how to take it for 31 miles. The four of us girls in the hotel had so much fun and it was great having other first time ultra runners with me to share our freak outs.
It looks like we've lived in this fridge for a month.
I am so much less nervous than a marathon not having a time goal!
I'm off on this 31 mile adventure!
good luck!! I can't wait to hear how it goes!! Be thinking of you today!

ReplyDeleteI am excited to see how the ultra goes for you! I am so impressed with anyone who will do marathons and higher. So far I have only done halfs and less :)
